- "Bichu Matsuyama Castle" takes pride in having the tallest of the remaining mountain castles with a castle tower. Bichu Matsuyama Castle in midst of seas of clouds is a mystical sight, is a recommended spot which any person would like to save as a photograph. The castle tower and double turret are the originals built in the 17th century, the main enclosure, fifth turret, and sixth turret were repaired in 1997. Said to have been built in 1240 during the Kamakura Period, it is valuable as an early modern castle with remains of the medieval times.
