Privacy policy

Okinawa Tourist Service Incorporated (hereinafter referred to as “We”, “Us”, “Our” or the “Company”) shall abide by this Privacy Policy, besides the laws in relation to protecting personal information (hereinafter referred to as “Personal Information Protection Law”) and related laws and ordinances, in order to protect personal information provided by the users of our service, OneTwoSmileHOTEL (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”).

1. Cross-border Data Transfers
Your personal information may be transferred to and retained at a country, prefecture or municipality where the laws in relation to protecting personal information of the country, prefecture or municipality of your residence cannot be enforced. In case of sending your information to the Company from your residence outside Japan, the Company shall transfer and process your personal information in Japan.   • Conducting researches and investigations in order to safely operate the Website.
  • Responding to inquiries and feedbacks in relation to the Website.
  • Corresponding with inquiries, requests, etc. in relation to the Website.

  • Any others purposes incidental to those purposes hereinabove.
5. Providing Personal Information to a Third Party
The Company shall not provide your personal information to any third parties without your advance consent or otherwise permitted by laws and ordinances.

In case of a merger or an acquisition between our Company and third parties or a transfer of an important part or all of our business, your personal information may be transferred to the relevant third parties. However, the Company shall strive to maintain the confidentiality of the information based on this Privacy Policy during such transition.

9. Requests for Clarification of Purpose of Use, Disclosure, Correction, Suspension, etc. of Personal Information
The Company accepts requests for clarification of purpose of use, disclosure, correction of contents, addition, deletion, suspension of use, elimination of personal information, or suspension of providing such information to third parties, at the contact listed below. 11. Governing Law and Exclusive Jurisdiction by Consent
The Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of Japan. All disputes arising from and relevant to the Privacy Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction by consent of Naha District Court as court of first instance.
12. Continual Improvement
The Company shall review situations related to handling personal information as appropriate, and in striving to continuously improve such situations, the Company may revise the Privacy Policy as necessary. The Company shall not reduce the rights of the users based on the Privacy Policy without the explicit approval from the users. Also, the Company shall post any changes in the Privacy Policy on this page, and in case of a significant change, the Company shall strive to notify the relevant parties in more definitive ways.
