Vehicle disinfection and sterilization methods
OTS Rent-a-car will thoroughly carry out vehicle disinfection and sterilization methods
A designated space has been set up to carry out this disinfection and sterilization process of the vehicles.
Frequently touched sufaces by customers
Door knob. Steering wheel. Hand brake. Navigation panel
Within each car and every car is thoroughly wiped to achieve the best effects of disinfection and sterilization.
- When cleaning the car, mask and disposable gloves are worn.
- Garbage will be placed in plastic bag, sealed and disposed.
- Hands will be properly cleaned and sanitized after cleaning job is done.
Disinfection and sterilization of the shuttle vehicles
OTS Rent-a-Car provides round-trip shuttle service from the airport and other places to our branches.
Shuttle vehicles that are back from ferrying passengers will also be thoroughly disinfected.
- Alcohol hand sanitizer is available on the bus.
- Thoroughly maintain air ventilation in the bus (Ventilation function in big buses is always in operation).
- A plastic curtain is installed between the driver’s seat and the passengers.
- To avoid overcrowding, the number of passengers will be limited.
Precautionary measures at the branches
At each OTS branch
To prevent infection, social distancing is practised while serving our customers.
Between customers and staff at each counter,
plastic curtains are installed to keep the distance.
Cleaning and disinfection at the branches
At all OTS Rent-a-car branches,
the counters and seats in the waiting area are regularly disinfected as well as
the credit card machine and the pen used for customer’s signature will also be disinfected.
Placement of hand sanitizers
OTS Rent-a-car branch counters are placed with hand sanitizers.
Customers can use them freely to maintain personal hygiene
- Perform regular disinfection process and maintain ventilation at the branches.
- Frequently touched surfaces or places by customers are regularly disinfected.
- Stationery and other shared items will be frequently disinfected.
- Payment can be settled by credit card for lesser interaction.
All staff are required to
wash their hands and gargle thoroughly to maintain proper hygiene.

In addition, to ensure all staff are in good health,
regular temperature taking and physical health checks are carried out,
in order to strictly manage and prevent infection.

- Uniform and clothings are changed daily
As a preventive measure against Covid-19,
temperature taking will be conducted.
In order to prevent the spread of Covid-19,
we appreciate your co-operation in the temperature taking.
- Customers are requested to wear masks and wash their hands frequently or use alcohol hand sanitizers to clean their hands.
- If you have fever, cough, sore throat, body fatigue, abnormal sense of smell/taste, etc., suspected symptoms of the coronavirus, please inform our staff.
- Should the above symptoms occurs and upon the customer’s consent, public health centre (returning residents, close contact consultation centre) will be informed and instructions will be given accordingly.
Customers with a temperature above 37.5 degrees will not be able to use the car rental service.
