Big summer event "Shodoshima Festival". Commerce and Industry Youth Division as main, there are a lot of programs like various events for children, stage events, Shodoshima dances, lottery, conducted by product designer Shimizu Hisakazu design research "Bad love design in Shodoshima" with a theme "Memory" etc. The sky above the island will be illuminated by about 2,000 firework launches during the festival.
