This is one of four the largest festivals of Chugoku region that colors Sunaku Takamatsu summer in vivid tones. The main events are fireworks display, dances and another affairs performed on a square during festival. Especially during fireworks there are numerous large-flowered balls, bright colorful star mines, splendid coloring waterfront Takamatsu that looks like a shower of light. Night sky illuminated by flower of lights, and beautiful afterimages reflecting on the surface of water are spectacular.
