This grand procession represents "Daimyo's procession" officially called "Armed procession of transferring a shintai in a portable shrine". This event is start of large autumn festival of Niimi Funakawahachimangu shrine (October 15th). Parishioner pass the streets, make clean sandpit and kneel down and inherit a habit of meeting with devotion.
