"Kuse Festival" in Maniwa city of Okayama prefecture is one of the 3 largest Tanjiri festivals in Okayama prefecture. October 25th of each year is a festival of 5 shrines of Kuse district of Maniwa city. Portable mikoshi shrines of 5 Shinto temples precede on former Izumokaido road, performing festival music, playing drums and gongs while proceeding streets, and "Rite of 5 shrines" accompanies 10 Danjiri. When the patrol is over, at evening in a special place "Clash of Danjiri shrines" (crashing into each other with a big might) is being held. On the next day (26th), "Danjiri rite" with only Danjiri and "Clash of Danjiri shrines" (the same like on 25th) are being held.
