This is New Year ceremony "Chohaiokishiki" from Ryukyu Kingdom era that is held on January 1st in Shuri Castle. A line of Ryukyu public servants staring with the king stands on Una square and Chinese style solemn and grand ceremony is performed. Enjoy splendid and colorful New Year of Ryukyu Kingdom opening first days of January.
