"Tomigusuku boat race" is an important cultural heritage and it is considered that it started about 600 years ago from the lord of Tomigusuku. Through space and time the event was revived and now it is king of appeal inside and out outside of the prefecture. The affair has been conducted from 2,008 and this year it will be the 10th anniversary race.
