"Sappoushi Shichien" was opened to welcome "Sappoushi", an envoy of China Throne in Ryukyu Kingdom Era. One part of this festival is "Mid-autumn feast" carried out under harvest moon on August 15th in according to old lunar calendar. Lit by moonlight back side of main temple will witness the greatest living national treasure of classic dance and Kumi Odori Dance. This is the best scene where Shuri Castle and Ryukyu performing arts interweave. Enjoy moments of luxury.
