In a birthplace of Noguni Soukan, Kadena town, to celebrate a memori of Noguni Soukan and the achievements, a sweet potato was given a nickname "Noguni potato" with love. Kadena which is the birth place of Noguni Soukan and Japanese sweet potato sends a message to the whole country, and to be heard "Noguni Soukan festival" is organized by townsmen.
