Yonaguni island is an island on Japan border where you can see silhouette of Taiwan islands on the horizon in sunny day. This maraphon with catch-phrase "Let's run in a city of the westermost point of Japanese border" will be held in a place with warm climate and beautiful view of nature.

In addition of being the westernmost point of Japan, 2 competitions will be held: 10 km course from Irisaki lighthouse and 25 km course around the island.
After the marathon a "Contact party" will be held. Enjoying traditional arts and live concerts, you may experience cultural exchange with another runners and islanders.
