Every year on the 4th day of the 5th month of lunar calendar ("yukkanuhi" day) a boat race on Okinawan dragon boats (called "hari") is being held. This year the day of the event is changed to Sunday. This annual event is being held in devotion for sea safety and abundant fishing. "Hari" interactive experience for children and another activities are conducted.
