With determination in peace and to send off the Old Year as an event to meet the New Year "Festival of fire and bells in Mabuni" is being held in Okinawa Peace Hall.
Throughout the "festival" judging the misery of war and nobility of peace, everyone from young to old people become the whole and all participants fly the torches of memorial service.
Approaching 0:00 a large sacred fire of repose of souls is being kindled and the bell of peace rings.
