[Explanation from the swordsmith and Ryukyu knife "sunabe" (hammering and stretching the blade to form the shape of the knife) during the morning.]
The craftsman explains in detail the process of the knife forging as it is applied to the Japanese sword (Katana).
Extend (sunabe) the hot iron to make the shape of the ryukyu knife. You can adjust several types of cutting edges to your taste. Feel safe as the artisan will follow you step-by-step.

11:30-13:00 Break & lunch time
Enjoy home-made or local cuisine from Okinawa in a dining table with the swordsman. 
The contents of the lunch will vary depending on the day.
Please understand beforehand that customers who have dietary restrictions due to allergies, religion, etc. should bring their lunch by their own.

13:00-15:30 Get back to Craftsman experience
Complete the activity by polishing the knife (sharpening the blade edge) and attaching the hilt in the afternoon.
We'll polish the knife with a grindstone and sharpen it with the grinding wheel.
The craftsman will finish the polishing.
For the hilt, we will use natural bamboo from Okinawa.Please use the ones prepared in advance in the smithy.
The experience of knives using bamboo hilt is unusual, so you'll love it!

Once your knife is completed, you can take it with you.

Experience guidance fee, material cost, lunch fee and consumption tax.

Experience starting time is at 9:30 (Please arrive 10 minutes in advance)

Please understand that local staff will only provide service in Japanese or English.

~ Regarding lunch ~
For customers with allergies or religious food restrictions, please bring your own lunch.

If the experience is not possible due to equipment failure, etc., the experience will be canceled.

Please note that the following cancellation fees will be charged due to cancellation by customer's convenience.
50% of the activity fee will be charged if we receive the cancellation notice from [00:00 of 7days prior to the activity day].
80% of the activity fee will be charged if we receive the cancellation notice from [00:00 of 2 days prior to the activity day].
100% of the activity fee will be charged if we receive the cancellation notice from [00:00 on the previous day of the activity].
100% of the activity fee will be charged if we receive the cancellation notice from [00:00 on the actual day] .
100% of the cancellation fee will be charged to non-arrival clients or no show (without notice).
