This sanshin music performance conveys the heart of the Okinawan people through traditional Ryukyuan and Okinawan songs, ahead of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.
In Part 1, enjoy a choral performance of an ancient folk song and solo performances by two Living National Treasures.
Part 2 features popular songs that depict life during and after the war.
