This special program introduces the world of Kumiodori, the traditional Ryukyuan dance-drama, and is designed to be enjoyable even for first-time viewers.
In Part 1, titled “The World of Kumiodori”, you will learn about the history, etiquette, and viewing tips of Kumiodori in an accessible and engaging way.
Part 2 features a full performance of “The Madwoman” (Onna Monogurui), a masterpiece by the renowned creator Tamagusuku Chokun.
