This special program focuses on traditional Okinawan instruments and invites you to fully enjoy the pure sound of five key instruments used in classical Ryukyuan performing arts: sanshin, koto, kokyū, flute, and drum.
Rather than merely accompanying vocals, these instruments will be highlighted for their own unique tones through a variety of genres including classical music, Okinawan folk songs, instrumental pieces, and modern compositions.
