Introductory Performance " Sounds of Ryukyuan Instruments "

This special program focuses on traditional Okinawan instruments and invites you to fully enjoy the pure sound of five key instruments used in classical Ryukyuan performing arts: sanshin, koto, kokyū, flute, and drum.
Rather than merely accompanying vocals, these instruments will be highlighted for their own unique tones through a variety of genres including classical music, Okinawan folk songs, instrumental pieces, and modern compositions.
After the performance, you can also try the instruments yourself and experience the charm of Okinawan music up close.
