Special Performance: Bushi Matsumora and Henzan Jiro

This Okinawan theatrical performance portrays the heroic tales of Bushi Matsumora and Henzan Jiro, renowned masters of karate.

Considered one of the finest masterpieces of Ryukyuan heroic tales and once performed by celebrated actors such as Yasutada Makishi and Gensei Oyadomari, this work will be presented by a popular cast of established and young actors under the direction of Makoto Takamiyagi.

In Part One, a special stage performance titled “Celebrating the Completion of Shuri Castle’s Seiden (Main Hall)” will feature classical music and Ryukyuan dance.

We invite you to fully experience the captivating world of Ryukyuan performing arts.
