Special Performance: National Theatre Yose

The ever-popular “National Theatre Yose” returns again this year. Along with a live demonstration and explanation of yose-bayashi (traditional musical accompaniment for Japanese variety theater), audiences will be introduced to the unique world of yose entertainment.
In addition to rakugo (traditional comic storytelling), the program features a variety of performances, including manzai comedy and kamikiri paper-cutting.
The finale will feature Sankyo Yanagiya, a master rakugo storyteller. Enjoy his refined and accomplished storytelling.
